  • Alyssa D'Amico, Director

Alyssa is a flower child. When she’s not tending her garden, she’s hanging with her dog or finding the nearest swimming hole. She has been passionate about working with adults with developmental disabilties since her position as a job coach with Cleveland Crops in 2014. She loves celebrating the everyday activities of life and finding fun and joy while sharing moments together. She founded the agency in 2019.

  • Carley Irwin

Carley loves to explore new activities with the Out & About crews! She brings her warm, playful spirit along for the ride and loves to be silly! She particularly enjoys discovering what community activities most excite the program members. Visiting parks, enjoying the peacefulness of libraries, and engaging in creative activities are Carley’s favorite things to do. She’s a gardener, fiber artist, metalsmith, and graduate student studying to be a counselor.

  • Mary Steffensen

Mary loves spending time with her family. As a mama of a one year old daughter Willow (who just started walking!) she is getting to explore the world in a whole new exciting way with her. Along with her husband, Stephen, dog, Ty, cat, Gandalf and bearded dragon, Xena, they like to take walks, cook, and hang out together. Mary used to work for Hattie Larlham as a job coach at the Food Hub and enjoyed the community nature of the job. Meeting interesting people and exploring exciting new places together is the best part of our outings with Out 'N About. Mary likes to do yoga, garden, read Fantasy novels, watch shows on the BBC and drink tea. Her all time favorite food is french fries with ketchup.

  • Adam Goldman

Adam has been teaching and working with people with disabilities for several years now. He's also a business owner, musician, and meditator who loves joking around and playing with his three cats. Adam brings with him a sense of playfulness and calm patience, and you can occasionally catch him singing along and dancing to his favorite tunes when they come on the radio.

  • Foster

Foster loves being outside. She can’t get enough of the exciting Northeast Ohio weather! Foster started working with adults with developmental disabilities in 2015 at the Hattie Larlham Food Hub. Having been a job coach, she relishes sharing in leisure time with the program members and finding fun things to do out in the community. She likes meeting new people as well as reconnecting with familiar faces. In her free time, she enjoys cooking elaborate feasts with her girlfriend, talking to her plants, watching the sunshine sparkle on Summit Lake, and playing dead (the yoga pose!).
